Greetings and welcome to the library!

As of 02/10/2010, the default user group is author. That means that as soon as you become a member, you will be allowed to start working on your fictions.

By submitting your fictions, you agree to the following:

Rules and Regulations

1. The Black Silk Castle’s Library (BSCL)  is a fansite for the Legend of the Five Rings Collectible Card Game and Role Playing Game (L5R) by Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG). L5R, its name, characters, ideas and logos are therefore trademark of AEG; and should therefore be respected as such.
2. The BSCL is a repository of original fan fictions; which means that by submitting your fiction, you are accepting that it is your own work and that you own its rights. Plagiarism will not be permitted.
3. As a fan fiction, you are allowed to use character, names and ideas from the L5R universe as part of you fiction.
4. The use of character, concepts, names and ideas from other sources not related to AEG must be accompanied by a reference to its creator. No exceptions.
5. Please keep your fiction on a PG-13 basis. Remember, L5R is played by teenagers and younger; so keep your fictions on that level. This will be enforced.
6. To control what is published, the following type of users will exist:
   1. Registered Users : a userwho will be able to post comments and rate fictions, but not post new ones.
      As of 02/10/2010, this user type is no longer used.
   2. Authors : writers who will be allowed to submit stories; which must be approved by publishers. Authors will be able to modify and updates their stories at any point in time.
   3. Editors : authors who can also edit other users content. generally used to correct grammatical errors and/or removing offensive material.
   4. Publishers : Editors who will be in charge of the approval of stories. Only after a story is approved by the editor will it be visible to everyone.
   5. Administrator : that’s me. I pay for this place, add and remove features, etc…
7. As always, this rules are subject to change at any given time.
